Hymn: I.O.I CAC 431 · Read: Galatians 5:1

Memory Verse

“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Corinthians 3:17)

Exposition

Today is an important day in the history of our nation. Nigeria, as we pause a little to think about the independence that we fought for and got over independence that is also a measure of responsibility that we have. Just as Nigeria got its independence through hard work, sacrifice and perseverance, likewise we, as righteous people in Jesus Christ. But just as about a nation's independence, without these things it will not normally come to live in its way of value. It calls us to... for living, to do that will give praise to God. It calls us to... for God, to do... True freedom, as the Bible explains our world. True freedom, as the Bible explains our world, is not about doing what we want, but living in the grace and truth that Jesus gives us.

As we remember today, do not let us enjoy only the freedom we have but let us also remember our responsibility in using it for development, peace and helping one another and doing hard work to make it good. May God's blessing be on the nation of Nigeria today and forever!

Rise For Our Help

Wednesday, September 30, 2026

Hymn: I.O.I CAC 399 · Read: Psalm 44:23-26

Memory Verse

“Arise for our help, and redeem us for thy mercies' sake” (Psalm 44:26)

Exposition

Life works on certain principles and from them, produce results that can be meaningful with trouble/difficulty. A teacher knows the principles to make everything happen. Indeed, some responsibilities are ours alone, but there is a time in a person's life that needs cooperation or support to overcome life's helps. This is why help is mercy or your anointing that receives something from others to make what you are doing or doing become fulfilled in your life.

The Psalmist has important understanding of seeking help to have fulfillment. He calls God to arise and to end his signs alone - likewise he can ask for help from the mouth of another, as the Psalmist did even though the help the Bible says, "whence will my help come?". God is the source of help that can be trusted/relied upon; He never disappoints. He alone can help without reproach or rejecting you to help you. He... to give to God to help you and those... do not hesitate to tell God to help you and those around you. Avoid selfishness - always share the gift of prayer.

Prayer Points

  1. Lord Jesus, arise and help me so that my eyes will not be ashamed.
  2. Holy Spirit, help me to know the importance of Your help and to receive me in Your exaltation.
  3. Pray for the power and survival of God in the Hanson Extended Family of Christ Apostolic Church, in the life of our father, the Superintendent of this Zone, other workers and the churches at various levels, in Jesus' name.

Sweet Hours Of Prayer

Tuesday, September 29, 2026

Hymn: I.O.I CAC 577 · Read: Hebrews 4:16; Isaiah 55:6-7

Memory Verse

“Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour” (Acts 3:1)

Exposition

It is something that comes from the place of prayer gathering in 1930, when Babalola appeared in Efon Alaye, which means... a special germ in our life. God. True problems start when individually one thinks... to return the times understanding this system, they have... The hours of prayer that are established in the work in establishing a good view for... (3:1). The hours of prayer that are individually when one thinks... to return the times understanding this system...

It is unfortunate that distractions have caused harm to prayer in the lives of many. We are full of programs, responsibilities are increasing, and prayer/devotion is becoming something that is only done when money is scarce. But revival calls for restoration - bringing our zeal back in prayer and through it, bringing God's revival that when people seek God individually, He answers with power.

As we think/consider this great revival, our prayer is that we can rekindle the fire of our hunger for holy communion with the Lord, and to ensure that prayer is a strong foundation on which our faith stands.

Prayer Points

  1. Father, rekindle my hunger for prayer always and the one that is... so that I can have deep communion with You.
  2. Holy Spirit, teach me to always pray with God overcoming obstacles, so that I can enjoy revival.
  3. Pray for the department of the Gospel Work at Ile Okere, of Christ Apostolic Church, the leader and other workers to... in winning souls and preaching the gospel to it, in Jesus' name.

Songs Of Praise To God

Monday, September 28, 2026

Hymn: I.O.I CAC Hymn 8 · Read: Psalm 47:1-9

Memory Verse

“Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises!” (Psalm 47:6)

Exposition

Songs of praise are an important part of worship. Is it not surprising that we should sing? The Creator of the world demands that God dwells in our... tells us that God inhabits the praise of His people. We were created to praise and to give thanks to Him. Praising God is not optional but to do. All that we call all people to, we call to praise Him (Psa. 117:1-2). One of the best ways to show our appreciation for His love, mercy and grace is through songs of praise and thanksgiving.

Imagine what our worship would be like without songs, that are full of spirit, that are well composed, well arranged and uplifting. Song brings joy, comfort and strength into our worship. Without it, the church can be cold as a tomb. Singing, especially when it is... Song on His throne, and lift Him up to dwell from the heart, can lift God up on His throne, and lift Him up to do according to our word (Isa. 42:10-13).

David is a great example of a man who praised God through songs and musical instruments, which made him rejoice as a man after God's own heart (Psa. 150:1). Singing songs of praise to God brings blessings like victory, deliverance, protection, favor and mercy. And days of blessing for us all. You can start praising God now. He will do what is right for you.

Prayer Points

  1. Lord Jesus, make me a praiser for Your glory.
  2. A spirit that will always praise God like David... in Jesus' name.
  3. Lord Jesus, help our churches to carry the singing of spiritual songs and Christians that will praise Your name.

Fat Word / Rich Offering

Sunday, September 27, 2026

Hymn: I.O.I CAC 714 · Read: 1 Kings 3:1-15

Memory Verse

“And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering” (Genesis 4:4)

Exposition

Blessing is a wonderful thing that is precious in human life. Every man longs to carry the word of God and to use it to sacrifice as God Himself has given us as a share among those who want to receive a share of the offering. For example, Cain wanted to give superficially and Abel wanted to give fat to God, even though the offering that failed lacked a good and acceptable measure. In this instance a good measure is not acceptable. Not only in measure but also good in character and position of the offering, after that which makes the offering judgment before God, after all Anything we give to Him should be the very best. God expects a good measure in worship, work, and our gifts.

Solomon's giving teaches us that true givers come with thanksgiving, thanking for what God has done and what He will continue to do.

It is not true to say that God does not ask anything from us. Throughout human history, He has been commanding His people to bring certain things. Solomon's many offerings were too many to bring to do the work he asked the source Solomon gave, sweetening it. The woman who had a covenant of God with Noah, Noah (Gen. 8:20-22). The woman who had an alabaster box was another example who undertook strong devotion to prepare Jesus for burial (John 12:1-7). Gather all your strength together and wait patiently for His answer.

Prayer Points

  1. Lord Jesus, I thank You for everything You have given me by grace, as a sign of my worship.
  2. Lord Jesus, I ask for grace to have a large heart for thanksgiving to grow for all worthy hands to have faith in obedience.
  3. Holy Spirit, help believers to be established in faith that will praise God.

Spiritual Hunger

Saturday, September 26, 2026

Hymn: I.O.I CAC 770 · Read: John 20:1-18

Memory Verse

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled” (Matthew 5:6)

Exposition

Spiritual hunger is a deep thing, a spiritual hunger that lifts a man up to seek God with zeal. The Bible praises this hunger/thirst in the life of some people, as it is written: "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness". The Psalmist showed this feeling when he said: As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God, my soul thirsteth for God, for the living God (Psalm 42:1-2).

This same spiritual hunger is what lifted Mary Magdalene to visit the tomb of Jesus Christ to take care of His body, while the other disciples went to hide because of fear. What her hunger revealed to her, she was the first to witness His resurrection. She thought "they have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre" (verse 2), which shows her shallow understanding of what happened (verse 9). The major difference between Mary Magdalene and the other disciples was in how deep their spiritual hunger was. Do you have hunger for the Lord and His righteousness? While the rest fled, she stood (verse 11).

Our experience about God and what we hear about Him cannot go beyond the level of our hunger for Him. Mary stood there by the tomb weeping and looking/longing to know where the Lord's body was. Because of her zeal, she had a powerful revelation encounter (verses 12-18).

Prayer Points

  1. Lord Jesus, lift me up to see and to know You more deeply than I knew You before.
  2. Let hunger and thirst for righteousness grow more than before in me, O Lord.
  3. Tell God to help the management executive and workers of this great church to make the plan/management grow to a high place, in Jesus' name.
